is tranquil, surrounded by natural pine forest and rugged

its own private south facing walled garden to the front and
side. It is laid to lawn with flowering shrubs, palms and a
BBQ. With two tiled terraces where you can enjoy a drink,
eat al fresco and watch the sun set behind the hills. Sun
loungers and patio furniture are provided. Private parking
is just 25 metres from the apartment and there is a
children’s play area within a five minute walk.
Las
Ramblas itself is a pretty oasis that is perfect also for
those who do not play golf. There are plenty of walks along
the canal, through the meandering hills and protected pine
forest. The surrounding farmland, together with orange and
lemon groves, makes for some stunning views across valleys
to the coast just a few kilometres away. All this and yet
you are only a few minutes drive from an abundance of
restaurants, bars and nightlife scattered all around this
vibrant area.
The
airports of Murcia and Alicante are just a 20 or 40 minutes
away.
Bars &
restaurants
This area has so much to offer when it comes to eating and
drinking as you are not far from the bars and restaurants of
Cabo Roig and Villamartin. Both are within a five minute
drive, here you will find bars and restaurants to suit all
tastes and budgets. The nearest supermarkets, shops and
banks are all within a 5 to 10 minute walk or a two-minute
drive.
Beaches
& Attractions
Within a 5 to 10 minute drive are the excellent local blue
flag beaches and picturesque coves of La Zenia, Cala
Capitan, Campoamor, Mil Palmeras and Cabo Roig, all with
soft white sand. The superb local Tapas and Paella in the
beach bars are highly recommended. Water sports are also
available. The beach of La Mata is situated on the edge of
Torrevieja and a few minutes further north are the beaches
of Guardamar and Santa Pola. They are larger and more open
but just as beautiful and a real must if you are into
windsurfing.
The
region of the Mar Menor is 15 minute drive away and is
particularly popular with the Spanish. Here the bars and
restaurants reflect the local cuisine and traditions. The
area is best known for its excellent water sports on the
lagoon. The water temperature in the winter months is around
18 degrees C, the warmest anywhere on the Spanish coast.
Also
within a short drive is “Aquapark Waterworld” a Go Karting
track, paintball and horse riding.
Terra
Mitica, Spain’s answer to Disney World, is about an hours
drive, just south of Benidorm. Mumdomar Marine & Exotic
Animal Park in Benidorm also makes an interesting day out
for families.
Towns &
Cities
Torrevieja is the closest of the larger towns, just a 15
minute drive. Here you will find shops, bars, marinas,
excellent waterfront restaurants, nightclubs and more
beaches. Market stalls can be found along the wide palm tree
lined promenade most afternoons and evenings.
Within
easy reach are the historic towns of Orihuela, Elche,
Cartagena, Lorca and Alicante. The city of Murcia is a 45
minute drive away. It is a vibrant city that really comes to
life in the evening. There is a wonderful Cathedral; old
bull ring, shops bars, cafes and restaurants as well as the
Football stadium.
Golf
The apartment is less than a two minute walk to the fairway
of the challenging 18 hole course at Las Ramblas. Campoamor
and the Championship course of Villamartin are within 5
minutes drive offering stunning scenery with that touch of
class you would expect in Southern Spain. All offer
clubhouse facilities and restaurants. Within 10 to 15
minutes drive are the courses of La Finca, the newest of all
the courses in the region and La Marquesa. If you don’t mind
a slightly longer drive of around 45 minutes you will find
the golf resort of La Manga; situated on the southern tip of
the Mar Menor and Mosa Trajectum a new inland course. All of
this makes for a true golfers paradise.

is fully alarmed and is fitted with smoke detectors.

throughout. You will find a dining suite, sofa bed and a
functional open fireplace. There is also an effective
ceiling fan. Should you stay during the winter months all
rooms have heating.
There is
satellite TV with Sky sports and movies and UK channels,
DVD/Video, hi-fi system, an assortment of CD’s, DVD’s,
videos, books and board games.
Kitchen &
Utility Area
The high specification kitchen has white/glass units and
granite work surfaces. Equipment provided includes oven &
hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher,
electric kettle, steam iron & ironing board, toaster, juicer
and coffee machine.
The utility
area houses the gas boiler that ensures an unlimited supply
of hot water. So no waiting for the water to heat up!
Bedroom 1
Comprises full size twin beds, fitted wardrobes with
drawers, a mini safe, an effective ceiling fan and a hair
dryer and heating.
The en-suite
bathroom has bath/shower and is fully tiled in marble. There
are large mirrors and heating. Bath and hand towels are
provided.

This room also has two full size twin beds, fitted
wardrobes, chest of drawers, an effective ceiling fan and
heating.

Fully tiled in a Spanish rustic style. With bath/shower,

Communal Pool
The beautiful swimming pool is just 25 metres from the
apartment. The pool has a charming waterfall feature, baby
pool and showers. Straw parasols, palm trees and other
tropical plants make it a perfect relaxing area during the
day or after a round on the golf course.

The listed
prices are per property per week, (not per person). Final
cleaning charges of 60 euros are to be added and are paid
locally (This includes apartment clean, all bed linen and
towels, but not beach towels). Flights and car hire can also
be arranged.
