Description:
The property is situated a couple of minutes walk from the
Villamartin golf course, clubhouse and tennis courts, as is
the Villamartin Plaza with it’s host of international
restaurants, bars and shops.
The property is located approximately 35
minutes drive from Alicante Airport and a 15 minute drive
from Murcia airport.
Torrevieja is the nearest town
approximately 6 miles away. Once a small fishing village it
has now grown into a busy town where shops, banks and legal
services can all be found here, together with markets,
restaurants, historical places of interest, squares, a
marina and the traditional promenade providing a scenic walk
overlooking beautiful beaches with many opportunities to
stop and have a quiet drink as you take in the atmosphere.
There are numerous blue flag beaches
along the coast that can be found by crossing over the main
coastal road, the N-332. Most having food and drink
facilities.
The closest beach is La Zenia, which is a few minutes drive
away, or can be reached by using the local bus service from
Villamartin Plaza. Other beaches in the area include Playa
Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Campoamor.
The salt lakes
in the area offer both scenic views and a haven for
wildlife, together with their health benefits.
There is a choice of 2 supermarkets a few minutes walk from
the property, together with numerous larger shops and local
markets a short drive away.
Accommodation:
The main living
area has a new three Seater sofa bed, dining table and chairs
and coffee table, with television, Sky TV. and CD player.
The open
plan kitchen is fully equipped with oven hob, fridge
freezer, washing machine, toaster and kettle, together with
all the necessary saucepans, kitchen utensils and place
settings.
Bedroom
one has a double bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobes
and an en-suite shower room and ceiling fan.
Bedroom
two has 2 twin beds, a bedside cabinet and built in
wardrobes and ceiling fan.
The main
bathroom has a bath with shower, W.C. bidet and basin.
Outside
there is a garden and balcony with countryside views, with
patio furniture supplied.
The
community pool is situated 50 metres away.
Facilities:
This area just south of Torrevieja is generally defined by the
3 golf courses, Villamartin, Las Rambles and Campoamor. They
act as key reference points by both residents and visitors.
This
property is situated within 5 minutes walk of the
Villamartin golf course. It is the oldest of the courses and
best known by those who have been coming to the area for
many years. It has many tight fairways and offers a real
test especially off of the tee. The green fee is €55. There
are also tennis courts available for hire.
The
other 2 courses, Las Rambles and Campoamor are located
within ten minutes drive from the property.
Las
Ramblas has a mixture of narrow fairways and rugged terrain
combined with a spectacular signature hole crossing 2
valleys. The green fee is €42. Campoamor has wider fairways
combined with slopes from every angle.
There are
also further golf courses a short drive away. La Marquesa,
where Seve and Olly cut their teeth in junior championships,
is 30 minutes away and well worth a visit.
La
Finca is by far the most impressive course of them all and
is already being considered as a championship venue of the
future. The green fee is €75. A tee-off time and
buggy/trolley booking service is available. Please note a
handicap certificate may be required at La Finca.
Booking Information:
Reduced
rates are available for long term lets. Weekend / short stay
breaks available at negotiated rates.
A £100
non-refundable deposit is required when confirming the
booking, with the remaining balance payable 6 weeks before
the commencement of the holiday.
A £100 inventory
deposit is also required which will be refunded in full
following your departure, subject to there being no damage
and return of all keys.
The
property is provided with bed linen and towels (towels for
swimming pool / beaches are not provided).
An
airport pick up service can be provided on request. €50 for
Alicante, €35 for Murcia each way (for a party of 4).
A
cleaning service can be provided at an extra cost of €55.
Due to
insurance restrictions, smoking is restricted to outside.
